REGISTRATION

F-1 students are required to enroll full-time at SRJC. Classes can fill up quickly, so it is recommended that you register as early as possible. Please refer to the Visa Rules & Regulations page for more information about the enrollment requirements for F-1 students. 

Registration Steps

• Step 1: Complete the SRJC Orientation course in Canvas.
• Step 2: Do the Math and English Guided Self-Placement activities in Canvas. It is preferred that you take the EMLS placement activity if English is not your first language.
• Step 3: Meet with your counselor and create an Education Plan. You can submit this form to request an appointment with either Chris Grant or Amanda Mansfield.
• Step 4: Register for the classes listed on your Education Plan.

Registration Dates

SRJC students get to register for classes in order of priority. International students get Priority 2 status. Priority registration dates Summer/Fall and Spring are posted online. You can also login to your Bear Cub Hub to check your priority registration status and time ticket (see instructions). Other important dates are posted on the Academic Calendar: 

• Last day to register/add semester length class without instructor’s signature or add code
• Last day to drop semester length class and be eligible for a refund
• Last day to register/add semester length class with the instructor’s signature or add code
• Last day to drop a semester length class without “W” symbol
