On January 8th and 9th, Santa Rosa Junior College welcomed 25 new international students at the Spring 2018 International Student Program Welcome Days.
Students were introduced to campus procedures and strategies to succeed in American higher education. Representatives from Health Services, Scholarship, Student Employment, Counseling, and District Police shared information about their services. Even SRJC President Dr. Frank Chong came to welcome the students. But the days were not all business. In between information sessions, students played fun, team-building games and won SRJC swag in a raffle. Although it rained on the first day of ISP Welcome Days, the second day brought warm sunshine, and students enjoyed an exclusive campus tour.
