Greetings! I’ve been working at SRJC since 2006. My career in international student education began while I was earning a bachelor’s degree at San Diego State University. I started working part-time teaching English as a Second Language at a local high school and enjoyed that job so much that I changed my program of study to linguistics. After I graduated, I went to Japan to teach there for two years. Since then, I’ve done a wide variety of fun jobs related to international education, including management, advising, events planning, recruitment, teaching, and I even had my own language school for a while. I have a master’s degree in International Economic and Political Assessment and I’m a certified TESOL instructor. I absolutely love my job! I’m here to help you and I hope you will stop by the ISP office to visit me.
