The International Student Academic Program is designed for students who are prepared to take college level courses. SRJC offers a wide variety of majors and courses, many of which transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Many students earn a two-year associate degree and return to their home country to work or to pursue university studies, while others complete the associate degree and/or the first two years of U.S. university bachelor degree requirements before transferring to university. New students must take an English assessment test upon arrival to determine appropriate course level placement. ESL courses may be recommended or required before gaining eligibility for college level courses.

Admission Requirements

Estimated Expenses. You must provide evidence of financial support for the first year of study. Santa Rosa Junior College estimates you will need a minimum of $25,000 U.S. for the first year. If you have friends or family in our community who will provide you with free room and board, documentation of only $12,000.00 is required. This estimate is based on an Academic year (2 semesters), and does not include living expenses during the summer. Students who share apartments with roommates will have lower living expenses. For a complete list of fees please refer to: http://international.santarosa.edu/fees-expenses

The tuition amount is based on a minimum of 12 college units per semester required for students to remain in legal F-1 Visa status. Many students typically enroll in more than 12 units. Actual tuition expenses may be slightly higher.
